“From waste to wonder”, Onima is developing the future of food from leftover brewers yeast.

Juan Londono, the Managing Director of Onima, founded the company formerly known as Yeasty to produce regenerative food products from a previously thought “useless” by-product; leftover brewers yeast.

Before Onima could set their eyes on the future and move their organisation from a lab-scale product to industrialised levels, they needed to rethink the broader plan. How do we commercialise? How do we innovate, while still spreading a cohesive message? How do we leave room for our innovations to grow and our community to grow with it? So, they came to us.

Here at Noise, we think “big picture”. We only want to work with the organisations that are changing the world; marrying innovation with a human and nature first mindset. We took a second look at Onima’s mission and noticed — where others may see waste, Onima see wonder. We knew Onima would be a turning the industry on it’s head, so we needed to visually and verbally show that. Collectively, we decided to give Onima a bigger brand purpose.

Throughout the partnership, we side-by-side with Juan and the team at Onima to share a new vision and visual identity to the organisation. Just as nature does, the very essence of the logo shows a cell growing into something bigger, something entirely new.

A uniform brand strategy creates a cohesive umbrella, naturally welcoming new products to the family. The future needs solutions and Onima will push the boundaries of what we can harness from natural resources for the betterment of the earth, because our old mindsets are changing — now, nothing should go to waste.
