Design Tools We Can’t Live Without

As an remote agency based all over the 🌎 a lot of people ask us how we work in a collaborative way. These are the top creative tools we use every day.

1. Figma — We could talk about Figma all. day. long. It’s our go-to tool for UX UI, Web design, Branding and Presentations. It allows our design teams to work together in the same files at the same time, even if they’re based on other sides of the world. The prototyping and component features make it a dream to work in for digital design. The branding team use Figma more and more as an easy tool to put branding projects together in. And as it is so intuitive, the members of the team who aren’t designers, and our partners, are now experts in putting together presentations, ideas, notes, comments and moodboards together in Figma.

2. Adobe Illustrator — We use this to create logos and any sort of brand illustration. Illustrator is more detailed and specific for this type of design, and has some amazing features that come in really handy for things like pattern design and custom typography. ⁠

3. Adobe Photoshop — Our go-to tool for anything photo related. Photoshop is an incredible tool that we sit in every day to edit and retouch imagery, create mockups in, or apply interesting visual affects to. The newest AI feature in Photoshop Beta is also super exciting, and we’re looking forward to exploring this feature more!

4. Adobe After Effects — For anything motion, After Effects is our best pal. Our projects feature more and more motion as a fantastic way to bring brands and products to life. From video editing, motion graphics and animation, After Effects is the best tool out there.
